Leon is an extraordinary individual who has overcome significant challenges and transformed his life in remarkable ways. As a former professional footballer, he enjoyed a successful career playing in all English leagues. His talent and dedication led him to score in every league and earn two promotion medals to the Premier League.

Throughout his career, he made nearly 400 appearances and scored an impressive 115 goals. However, upon retiring from football, Leon encountered mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Unfortunately, he experienced such deep despair that he attempted to take his own life. This period of his life was undoubtedly challenging, but Leon managed to find a new path forward. Drawing inspiration from his own DNA and the fighting spirit within him, Leon turned to boxing. At the age of 35, he embarked on a new journey as a professional boxer.  Despite his relatively late start in the sport, he demonstrated incredible determination and skill, ultimately competing for English, southern, and even International titles.

After retiring from boxing at the age of 39, Leon redirected his energy towards mental health advocacy. By openly discussing his personal struggles and experiences, he became a leading advocate for mental health. Through his powerful storytelling and willingness to talk about his own journey, he inspired and helped countless individuals who were facing similar challenges. In addition to his advocacy work, Leon took on a mentoring role at Crystal Palace FC, where Leon first became a pro.

His unique perspective as a former professional athlete and his own battles with mental health made him an invaluable mentor to young footballers, providing support and guidance both on and off the field. Recognizing the importance of formal education and training, Leon also made the decision to study and become a qualified counselor. By pursuing this path, he aimed to deepen his understanding of mental health issues and enhance his ability to assist others in their own mental health journeys. Leon's story is one of resilience, courage, and the power of using personal experiences to create positive change. Through his advocacy, mentoring, and pursuit of counseling qualifications, he has become a beacon of hope for individuals struggling with mental health issues.

His dedication to helping others and his determination to make a difference in the world exemplify the impact one person can have on the lives of many.
